Obituary Notice

Laura Lirleen McMurry Lilly, age 90, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005. Lirleen was of the Baptist Faith, and retired from Arkansas State Hospital where she was a Laboratory Technician.

Lirleen was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Taylor McMurry; father, J. J. McMurry; brothers, Lewis and Millard McMurry; sister, Maylah McMurry Allison; and her husband, Russell Lilly.

Lirleen is survived by daughter, Sandra Diane Lilly Ward; two grandchildren, Kathleen Diane Ward, Sean David Ward and wife Lynne. She had two great grandchildren, Ian Sean Ward and Jackson Anthony Ward, along with many nieces and nephews and their children. Her primary interests included her love of God, and her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at Ruebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at McFarland Cemetery in Banks (Bradley County).

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care given to Lirleen over the years.

Those desiring to make memorial donations may do so to the Alzheimer Association.
