To the family of Bella--
I had the wonderful privilege of being one of Bella's classmates at the mount. She and I shared a homeroom class. Bella and I were also co-members of SADD (Students against destructive decisions) Club. Bella always impressed me with her ability--and courage--to speak out against injustice. She was also so good at coming up with great ideas for the club. She was so passionate. She also possessed this remarkable ability to make everyone feel accepted and loved. These are just a few of the things that I admire most about Bella. I could go on forever. I will miss her dearly. I will never forget her glowing smile and kind spirit.

It is with a heavy heart that I write you your family tonight, Jane. I am so sorry for your loss and really can't help but smile because your Bella wouldn't want any other reaction but a smile to her being free! She lived life like no other, loved as no other student I've ever been in contact with and she's the one that made such an impact on me, and I didn't even have the blessing of teaching her. She was love! She embodied such joy and happiness...I have never seen or probably will not ever be blessed to experience another one like your Bella! The Lord reached out His hands and embraced her, welcoming His Ray of sunshine home...no doubt pleased by the love she radiated onto all who passes her on this side of eternity! See you again, Bella!
Prayers for your entire family will be continued during this time. Sending my love to you and Angie too...

I remember Bella and Angie from my days working at Hestands. I always loved when they would come to the store. Bella was was always so happy and had a contagious smile that would turn a bad day at work into one that I left with a smile. I still remember Bella and Angie always wanting/looking for Dora the Explorer snacks and we never had them and I could not let them leave so many times without them. I finally went and bought them from a different store to have them waiting for the two of them when they came looking for them. Seeing their faces when they found those snacks is something I will never forget just like how I will never forget the smile Bella always had when she came to the store. I am very sorry for your loss and will be praying for your family. Bella was the true meaning of happiness in life and I am greatfull to have had her in my life to show me that.

Dearest friends,
Growing up next door to you all in Monticello was a gift of love that has blessed me all of my life, from my first timid moments in Mrs Johnson's kindergarten, there in your home, to school and summer campouts, and throughout our lives. The various crossings of paths through the years have been such heartwarming reminders of our shared childhood memories.
I feel lucky that I was able to meet Bella and to see the sweet loving person that she was and the touching affection that she and Mrs Johnson had with one another, as with her sweet sister and best friend.
All my kindest thoughts and prayers for all of you. You are all such a lovely family. Bless you.May God comfort you all now and always.

Prayers go out to the family and friends and to Bella's nurse, Dot. So sorry to hear of her passing. She was a beautiful young lady, so full of life, truly an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She never let anything slow her down. It always made me smile to look down the hall and see her coming or going with Dot. She was a perfect example of someone who didn't take life for granted but instead fought to get the most out of every single minute of every single day. She was truly a fighter and a reminder to all of us to never, ever give up. She was quite a passionate young girl who spents her short years teaching others so much about life. She will truly be missed.

Sweet Bella was one of a kind! I was blessed to teach Bella at PHMS and I learned from her each and every day. She always had a smile and warm greeting for everyone and never complained about anything, even on her rough days. She showed us all the true meaning of living each day to its fullest . Heaven has gained a special Angel. She can now spread her smile and joy there as she did here on earth.

Bella was a joy to be around. I was lucky enough to be her "buddy" for her first day at Miracle League, and it was the best experience I ever had there, our of many great ones. She danced her way around the bases, and did high kicks in between. Her attitude and enthusiasm were infectious, and I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I thank you for the gift of knowing such a precious girl.

Bella was so sweet and kind, and she always said hi to everyone. She was so full of spirit and participated in everything she could. Probably the biggest thing was that she always put on a dazzling performance at the Lip Sync at Mount, and even if she couldn't move around much, she always got everyone to stand up. Everyone always loved her so much.

Dear Jane and family, My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are sent to you after hearing of the unexpected loss of your beloved Bella. As a teacher at Holy Souls, I was always happy to see her in the hallways completing her service hours. In fact, when I knew it was her day to come, I would "find" work for her to help me with so I could visit with her. She was always eager to help, and for that, I will always be thankful. Corinne enjoyed having Bella with her at MSM and loved to tell me the stories of her well-known "lip sync" performances. MaryMills also enjoyed seeing Bella's beautiful smile over the years that we have known your family. Please know that we are lifting all of you up in prayer and that Bella was a true treasure from God.

May God comfort you as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death
We did not know your daughter Bella, but we?ve had difficult times like you?re going through right now. My wife and I lost a 21 year old son when he was killed in a motorcycle-car wreck.
Each person has to grieve in their own way and own time, and you may not think so in the next few weeks, but as time passes you will be able to think more on the good times that you had together and her zest for life and less about losing your daughter.
We are of the Christian faith and even in our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign.
It is always good to hear people remember and name the one you?ve lost. Bella will not be forgotten by friends and I hope they?ll share their memories of her with you.

You don't know me, and neither did Bella. But though we are strangers, Bella impacted everyone. I was a senior at MSM when Bella came in as a freshman. Our sisters and myself greeted her with open arms. My fondest memory of sweet Bella is the day she lip synced the first time in our gym for our rally. She left an impact on every human being in that gym that day. Her love, confidence, humility, and genuiness left a spark in everyone's heart that day. Thank you for bringing such a beautiful soul into this world so that she could touch the lives of others. My deepest condolences for you, her family, and her friends. God bless.

Bella was a beautiful soul. She brought joy wherever she went to those around her. I enjoyed watching her at Miracle League and was blessed to be her coach one season. Prayers for your family for comfort and peace.

Brown Family,
Bella was such a bright spot not only in my life, but in the lives of all of her Mount sisters. I know that Bella constantly put a smile on my face, and had the ability to boost anyone's morale with her vibrant spirit and determination. Bella was, without a doubt, a star. Her lip sync performances were unforgettable, much like Bella. She is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Bella and Dot were Mount St. Mary heroes, in my opinion. Between the two of them, you were guaranteed to be happy and well taken care of. Bella's passing is absolutely devastating. It seems lately that as soon as we, as a Mount family, pick ourselves up, we get knocked back down. But we must keep moving forward. Bella isn't sick anymore. She never let her illness hold her back in this life, and I KNOW it doesn't hold her back in the life that is to come for the rest of us. We may not see Bella again for a long time, but she has given us a lifetime of love and memories to cherish until we meet once more.

God bless you all.

I went to school with Bella almost my whole life, and she has left such a positive impact on me. She was always smiling and so genuinely happy. Seeing her in the hallways always put a smile on my face and she will be greatly missed.

I was blessed to go to Mount with Bella for a year and within that year she taught us all so much. The minute anyone saw Bella walking the halls you instantly got a smile. She was the sweetest girl who always had a compliment to give out. I am extremely sad to hear about her passing, but I know she is up in Heaven dancing with God waiting to greet everyone whose life she touched on Earth. Her spirit was raidiant and could be felt in any room she walked in to. Thank you God for allowing me to be a senior when Bell was a freshman, and thank you for allowing me to meet that sweet girl whom I will never forget. Have fun dancing in Heaven! Many prayers for her family at this time.

Jane, Angie and Freddy. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Bella. She is and will always be my patient. The patient that changed me for the better and made me who I am today. Not only my patient but my friend. I have so many amazing memories with her and yall. I wish i could take away the hurt but I know Bella is up there singing and dancing and making friends with everyone she meets! She is a contagious personality that I will always love and miss. Love you all and will be praying for you daily.

Bella was such a sweet soul and always a pleasure to be around. I hope to have even half the kindness that she possessed. I will forever cherish the letter that she and Angie wrote me and all of the memories I have of her. Your family will be in my prayers.

My heart is heavy with loss. Bella was/is and shall always embody the Spirit of Pulaski Heights Middle School. I was blessed to get a daily hug, from this sweet, gentle, outgoing little soul. She had the best ideas on how to improve our school, as a member and officer of Student Council. Angie, I am so very sorry for your loss, I think only your Mom understands the depth of it. Mrs. Brown, you are a remarkable person, a mother devoted like no other I have met, God Bless and Keep you. With Love,

Dear Brown Family, though I never had Bella in class, she and I would talk in the hallway on the 6th grade floor of Pulaski Heights Middle School. She was always vivacious and full of life, and I could count on her brightening my day when we talked. I loved her positive attitude toward life and how she dealt with the challenges placed before her. She now is whole, healthy, and running the golden streets of heaven with her bounce and contagious smile. This is only a temporary goodbye for you because you will see Bella again in her heavenly body. She was a gift to us all. Thank you for allowing Bella and Angie to attend PHMS where both made an impact on those they touched. You are in my prayers.
