Biography: Linda Gail Brown Teeter was born in Warren, Arkansas in October 1949 where she grew up surrounded by a large, loving extended family including thirty aunts and uncles and sixty first cousins. Linda was predeceased by her husband of thirty-three years, Silas Neil Teeter of Russellville, and her parents, L.T. and Mildred Myers Brown of Warren. Linda is survived by her four brothers, Bruce and Kay Rawls Brown of Pansy, Rodger and Norma Jarrett Brown of Camden, Phil and Stephany Doss Brown of Guy, Todd and Lora Markham Brown of Bella Vista; her sister Peggy and Bill Thrash of Little Rock; her friends of forty-three years, Betty and Carter Taylor of Rison; sixteen nieces and nephews; and, thirteen great-nieces and great-nephews. Linda was loved by so many, many more. Linda retired after thirty-eight years as an Arkansas educator and administrator during which her favorite position was that of early childhood administrator of the Great Rivers Coop in Helena. Linda found she enjoyed retirement so much more than she expected, especially the freedom it gave her to spend time with her husband. She loved growing cannas some of which were passed down to her from her mother. This led to her becoming a member and officer of the Greater Little Rock Garden Club. Linda was passionate about her dogs, Lulu, Sparky, Sugar, Lucky, and Sue. Cherished. Missed. Loved. Everyone is welcome to the memorial service on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 10 am at Ruebel Funeral Home.

This is a late response but I recently found out that Linda had passed and my condolences go out to the family. I remember when there was an opening for a paraprofessional position in my hometown. I and another lady applied for the position. I just knew that I probably would not get the position because I was much older than the other lady and she had just finish High School. The next day Linda Teeter called and told me that I had the job I was so happy. Linda was a kind and sweet person and a very hard worker. She will truly be missed

We would like to offer our condolences and we hope you will find comfort in the words of Hosea 13 : 14 which says,? "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; from death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave? Compassion will be concealed from my eyes."

At that time man's last emeny, death will be gone. (1 Cor. 15:26)

I worked under Linda at Great Rivers Co-op for many years. She was not only organized and knowledgeable, she was always kindhearted and treated all of us with love and respect. She called all of us "her girls" because I think she thought of us as "her work family".
The things she taught me will always affect how I work everyday and for that I'm forever grateful.
My thoughts and prayers are with all her family at this time. I know she will be missed dearly.
