Biography: Mary Lynn Dudley passed away on March 17, 2017. She was a vivacious lady who exuded grace, charm, and dignity and at the same time she was entertaining, friendly, and fully devoted to her family and friends. She lit up a room when she entered. She attended Mt. Vernon College and the University of Arkansas where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and Miss University of Arkansas. Later she enjoyed being a member of the Little Rock Garden Club and a trustee of the Arkansas Arts Center. Her first marriage gave her three wonderful children, Steve (Gay) Anthony, Paige Tipton, Ed Anthony, and five beloved grandchildren, Addison Anthony, Wilson Anthony, Tyler Tipton, Laura Cain Tipton, and Brooks Tipton. Mary Lynn was especially fond of her first great-granddaughter, Emerson Claire Anthony. She and Justice Robert H. Dudley were married later and enjoyed twenty-six wonderful years of marriage. During this time she gardened, became an investor, played tennis and golf, and after she could no longer play sports, enjoyed spending time with her friends playing Maj-Jong. She loved Judge Dudley?s children, Debbie (Frank) Branson, Kathy Helms, Cindy (Spenser) Longshore, Bob (Marjorie) Dudley, and their children and grandchildren. At Mary Lynn?s request there will be a get together of her friends at her home, 1900 Country Club Lane. This visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017. Later there will be a private interment at Mt. Holly Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends make a memorial to their favorite charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com
