Biography: Patricia ?Pati? Charleen Tipton, 73, of Little Rock, passed away March 6, 2019. She was born December 12, 1945 to Emmitt A. Tipton and Charleen H. Tipton. Pati is survived by her only child, Tia Charleen Murchison (Blake) and grandchildren Blake Murchison II and Alexandra Murchison. Pati was a Navy ?brat? and lived her first eight years in numerous locations including Hawaii and Trinidad and Tobago. She returned to Little Rock in the mid 1950?s. Later she graduated from Mabelvale High School where, among other activities, she was a member of the Lionette drill team. In the 1970?s she became a cosmetologist, which suited her ?never met a stranger? personality. Pati also loved playing tennis and was an avid golfer. During the 1990?s she was ?reborn? to the Republican Party after being a lifelong Democrat. This lead her to serve the Central AR and North Central AR Republican Committee?s. A private celebration of life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Union Rescue Mission?s- Dorcas House 823 S. Park St. Little Rock, AR 72202.
