Biography: William “Bill” Francis Hunt, 92, of Benton, AR met his Jesus on December 18, 2025, while in Hospice Care with his family surrounding him in love.    He was born on November 28,1933 in Ottumwa, IA to Carl and Bessie (Hughey) Hunt.  He was a Korean War Veteran in the United States Air Force from 1951-1953.  He then worked a variety of jobs in maintenance and construction until his retirement. 

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife of 60 years Agnes Elaine (Grenko) Hunt, brothers Richard “Gene” Hunt and Russell Hunt, sisters Rachel Johnston and Colleen Allen.

He is survived by his children - Karen (Jim) Blissit of Mayflower, AR; Russ (Sandra) Hunt of Mount Holly, NC; Billy (Tina) Hunt of Stillwater, OK; Sharon (Ricky) Powell of Mabelvale, AR.   Grandchildren are Paul (Bryna) Blissit, Kristi (Brison) McPhail, Megan (David) Goines, Katie (Dan) Sargent, Matthew (Mali) Hunt, Kevin (Lisa) Powell, Amanda (Michael) Klamm, Chris Hunt. and 18 great grandchildren; brother Jim (Tanya) Hunt of Lewisberry, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 10a.m. on Monday January 5, 2026 at Faith United Methodist, 9820 W. Markham St., Little Rock AR. Interment will follow at 12p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, AR.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
